"Society, the form of paradise created by man.
Driven from the earthly paradise, he could only take refuge in the earthly world, permeated by death.
The weakest of living beings, man has therefore, with the knowledge he has acquired because of his weakness, created a paradise to his liking.
A paradise that men have created with their own strength to protect their lives from the terror of death and to pursue the satisfaction of their pleasures. So is this city, a city armed for our protection.
A city of cowards fleeing from the outside world swarming with enemies.
A rather appreciable prerogative, cowards live longer."
